I have been seeing Dr. Demorest for many years now. I had seen other acupuncturists before, but never felt so welcomed. She is very knowledgeable in many areas of her practice and cares about your whole well being. She is always willing to take the time to answer your questions if you have any and helps you understand the concept of acupuncture, so you get the full benefit from it. When you go see Dr. Demorest for a treatment, you also get a "mini-counselling" session as she always tries to see if everything is going well in other areas of your life and offers you some guidance, which helps thinking things through. She does not only focus on your pain. She goes deeper!! You can feel and tell that Dr. Demorest cares for her patients.
I find Dr. D to be an excellent contributor to the maintenance and improvement of my health. Her knowledge base, training, and continued research provide for my best treatment. She also directs me to other health care professionals in other fields who might assist further. I have had some chronic hip and neck issues. The pain in my hip was reduced drastically after treatment by Dr. Demorest. The pain in my neck is nominal or gone most days where it used to incapacitate me.

I started seeing Dr. D in 2004 to help with depression. At the time, I was willing to try anything. I didn't know much about TCM and acupuncture at the time and the benefits it could provide, however Dr. D explained all the benefits of TCM and what she was doing throughout the appointment. I have since that time sought treatment for a variety of other health issues such as anxiety and physical injuries sustained from an MVA. PTSD from a work-related assault and more currently a muscle strain. Throughout the 18 years that I have sought treatment with her, she has always taken the time to listen to my concerns and provide professional treatment with a happy uplifting smile.
Louise is so knowledgeable, caring, kind, and really listens to what is wrong. She is very talented at what she does. I came in initially for pain management from a sport injury, her treatment has really helped, especially with the inflammation and pain. I would highly recommend her!
